Hay Fever
previews
June 20, 21, and 24, 2008
June 25- August 24,
2008
written by Noel
Coward
directed by Jim Schneider
Cleverly constructed, wittily written,
slightly cynical, and undeniably entertaining, Hay Fever
tells the story of the Blisses, a decidedly eccentric family, whose
theatrical excesses torment a group of unsuspecting and unfortunate
weekend guests come to their country house to visit. Coward
wrote the play in three days, inspired by a weekend he spent at the
home of actress Laurette Taylor, and it has come to be one of his
most amusing. Featuring the talents of the team that brought
to life the previous Noel Coward hit, Design for Living,
Circle Theatre is proud to present this classic comedy of
manners……..Or should we say lack thereof?
Featuring the talents of Peter
Esposito, Catherine Ferraro,
Judith Hoppe, Eric Lindahl, Kimberly
Logan, Bradford Lund, Jonathan Nichols, Mary Redmon, and Erin Reitz
